Time Tracker for Payroll
Time cards are the default setting for Time Tracker, making them the ideal way to capture your team's time for payroll. With time cards, employees can easily clock in and out of shifts, take breaks, switch between projects, and receive overtime alerts. Administrators and managers can monitor employee hours, estimate costs within each pay cycle, automatically calculate overtime and double time based on set thresholds, implement time rounding, and receive automatic notifications of rate increases for overtime and double time.
Time Tracker for Billing
Timers are perfect for invoicing clients and are the default setting for our Time Tracker +Billing account. With timers, you can effortlessly capture every second worked with just one click. You can run multiple timers, switch between clients, projects, and activities, mark time entries as billable or non-billable, enter hourly billing rates or flat fees, and flag time entries as standard or overtime. There's also an option to add the time entry directly to an invoice.
Included in every account:
- Geolocation tracking: allows you to view a detailed map of where your employees were when they logged time, minimizing billing disputes and providing location verification (displays location after the entry is saved/not real-time tracking).
- Time entry approvals: submitted time entries can be edited, rejected, or approved by an admin. Approved time entries automatically sync with your accounting and payroll software (if enabled).
For larger teams, you have the option to assign managers or supervisors as admins, allowing them to review and approve their own team's time entries.
Time Tracker +Billing also offers expense tracking and client billing!
Manage expenses: track expenses on your mobile device by taking a photo of your receipt and uploading it to Time Tracker. Expenses can be reviewed, marked as billable, and easily added to client invoices (optional).
Client Billing: convert time and expenses into professional client invoices. When you connect your account with the Stripe payment gateway, clients can pay invoices instantly.
Invoice Management: easily view your list of invoices to see payment percentages and email client invoices from any device.
